Missing Teddy Bear Reunion

A MOTORIST whose childhood teddy bears fell off the roof of his car has been reunited with the toys after Highways Agency staff in England recovered them from the roadside.

David Perry, 26, was resigned to never seeing the bears again when they tumbled off his roof rack as he drove from Beeston, Nottinghamshire, to his home in Redditch, Worcestershire.

He admitted he had held out little hope of success when he rang the Highways Agency to inquire if Masher and Bruno, had been found.

But the bears - which were discovered on the A52 near junction 25 of the M1 in Nottinghamshire - have now been posted back to Perry.
